Hoodibot Privacy Policy

In short: Hoodibot works entirely on your Mac and its developer collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and the app sends nothing over the internet.
What stays on your Mac
- Your settings, the folder you chose as the pet's home, and a log of the files Hoodibot moved (file names and where they came from) so you can undo.
- These are stored only on your Mac. Deleting the app's data removes them.
Your files
- Hoodibot only moves files you let it tidy, into folders on your own Mac. It never deletes or uploads them, and Undo puts them back.
- The Mac App Store version works only inside the folder you pick (for example, your Desktop).
- File search runs on your Mac only: the website version searches your home folder, the Mac App Store version only the folders you pick.
- The version sold on our website can also arrange desktop icons; for that it asks for macOS permission to control Finder, which you can revoke in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Automation.
Idle apps (website version)
The website version can notice an app you haven't used for a while that takes a lot of memory, and asks before quitting it. It reads app names and memory use on your Mac only and never sends them anywhere. The Mac App Store version doesn't read other apps at all.
Other Hoodies apps on the same Mac
If Hoodimate is also installed, the two apps share your pets' position and mood through a shared folder on your Mac so they can meet and play. This never leaves your Mac.
Voice
If you use voice commands, speech is turned into text on your Mac only (on-device recognition). If your language isn't available on-device, voice commands are turned off rather than sent anywhere. Microphone access can be revoked in System Settings.
Future features
If a future version adds anything that needs the internet (such as weather), this policy will be updated first and the feature will tell you what it sends and to whom.
Children
Hoodibot collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

안 쓰는 앱 알림(웹사이트판)
웹사이트판은 오래 안 쓰면서 메모리를 많이 쓰는 앱을 찾아, 끌지 먼저 물어봐요. 앱 이름과 메모리 사용량은 맥 안에서만 읽고 어디로도 보내지 않아요. Mac App Store 판은 다른 앱 정보를 전혀 읽지 않아요.
같은 맥의 다른 후디즈 앱
후디메이트도 설치되어 있으면, 두 펫이 만나 놀 수 있도록 맥 안의 공유 폴더로 펫의 위치와 기분을 주고받아요. 맥 밖으로는 나가지 않아요.
음성
음성 명령을 쓰면 말한 내용은 맥 안에서만 글자로 바뀌어요(기기 내 인식). 기기 안 인식을 지원하지 않는 언어면 음성 명령이 꺼지고, 어디로도 보내지 않아요. 마이크 권한은 시스템 설정에서 거둘 수 있어요.

날씨처럼 인터넷이 필요한 기능을 넣게 되면, 먼저 이 처리방침을 고치고 무엇을 어디로 보내는지 앱에서 알려 드릴게요.
어린이
후디봇은 어린이를 포함해 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않아요.

如果同时安装了 Hoodimate，两个应用会通过你 Mac 上的共享文件夹交换宠物的位置和心情，让它们见面玩耍。这些信息不会离开你的 Mac。
语音
使用语音命令时，语音只在你的 Mac 上转换为文字（设备端识别）。如果你的语言不支持设备端识别，语音命令会关闭，不会发送到任何地方。麦克风权限可在系统设置中撤回。
未来功能
如果今后加入需要联网的功能（例如天气），我们会先更新本政策，并在应用中告诉你发送什么、发送给谁。
儿童
Hoodibot 不收集任何人（包括儿童）的个人信息。
